Clarion County Community Bank “FoodStock” is an annual county-wide food drive that benefits all Clarion County Food Banks. Non-perishable, non-expired food items will be collected throughout September 2019 and during the 66th Annual Allegheny Toyota Autumn Leaf Festival™. Beginning in September, food collection barrels and food drive initiatives will be held at various businesses and communities throughout Clarion County.

Help Clarion County Community Bank and Clarion Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep-RAM “RAM Up the Food Banks” during the 66th Annual Allegheny Toyota Autumn Leaf Festival™! Bring non-perishable, non-expired food donations to your favorite ALF™ events and help fill up the bed of a RAM pick-up truck! Food donations can also be dropped off at the RAM truck inside the Clarion Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep-RAM location from September 30th through October 4th between 12:00 pm and 5:00 pm. All proceeds benefit the Clarion County Community Bank “FoodStock,” a countywide collection drive that supports local food banks.

Bring non-perishable, non-expired food items have your business spotlighted LIVE on the Autumn Leaf Festival(tm) Facebook page that you can then share with your customers, friends and family. The collection drive will be held at the Clarion-Dodge-Jeep-RAM location throughout the 66th Annual Allegheny Toyota Autumn Leaf Festival™. Food donations can be dropped off between 12:00 pm and 5:00 pm each day of the festival.

Fiddlers

The S&T Bank “PA State Old Time Fiddlers’ Contest” will be held on Saturday, September 28th, 2019, at 11:00 am at the First United Methodist Church on 600 Wood Street in Clarion, PA.

This popular competition will have you tapping your toes and dancing along to the music! The competition also features contests for the guitar, banjo, and mandolin. Supporting sponsors for the event are Colony Homes, Commodore Homes, Kronospan U.S.A. and McDonald’s.

Touch A Truck, Kids' Carnival, Power Wheels Derby, Electrical Safety City

The Bigfoot Country “Kids’ Carnival” and Advanced Disposal “Touch-A-Truck” will be held on Saturday, September 28th, 2019 in the Clarion Mall parking lot from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Kids of all ages will have a chance to get behind the wheel of big rigs, firetrucks, construction vehicles, and more! With entertainment, games, and activities, this FREE event is great family fun for everyone!

The 66th Annual Allegheny Toyota Autumn Leaf Festival™, and Central Electric Cooperative, Inc., are pleased with the turnout last year for the “Safety City Demonstration” and plan to continue the display this year! The demonstration will be held at the Clarion Mall during the Bigfoot Country “Kids’ Carnival” on Saturday, September 28, 2019, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Children and adults will be able to learn about electrical safety and awareness through an interactive display. There is no charge to view the demonstration.

Scholarship Program

The “Miss Petite, Miss Junior Teen and Miss Teen ALFTM Scholarship Program”, sponsored by UPMC Northwest, will be held on Saturday, September 28th at 6:30 p.m. at the Clarion Area High School Auditorium. Young ladies in grades 5-12 who live or attend school in Clarion County will compete. The phases of competition include interview, formal wear, Friday night fun wear, on-stage question and talent.  Miss Teen ALF(tm) contestants will also compete in the essay portion of the competition.

Reserved seats for the program can be purchased in advance at the Clarion Area Chamber of Business & Industry at 650 Main Street or at the door for $12.00 each. Tickets are on sale now! We ask that you bring a non-perishable item to benefit the Clarion County Community Bank “Foodstock.”

Autorama

The Autorama Cruise In sponsored in part by FirstEnergy will be held on Sunday, September 29, 2019, from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm from 2nd Avenue to 8th Avenue on Main Street in Clarion, PA.

All vehicle makes, years, and models are accepted.  Pre-register before Friday, September 20th for $5. You are welcome to register the day of the event, starting at 9:00 am at $10 per vehicle.

Junior Olympics

The PNC Bank “Junior Olympics” will be held on Sunday, September 29, 2019, from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm at the Clarion University Memorial Stadium. Sponsored in part by Clarion University, this event invites children between the ages of 5-12 who live or attend school in Clarion County to go for the gold! Each child will participate in 4 events – Standing Long Jump, Dash, Softball Throw, and the Modified Javelin Throw. Medals will be given to the top 3 performers in each event (for the age and gender category).

Motorcycle Show

The 21st Annual UFP – Parker, LLC Motorcycle Show will be held on Sunday, September 29, 2019 from 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm. All makes, models, and classes are welcome! The show takes place on Main Street in Clarion from 7th Avenue to Weaver Place. Parking begins at 9:00 a.m. Registration will be available the day of the event with no fee to register. Clarion County A.B.A.T.E. will also be giving away one boys’ and one girls’ bicycles during the event. Children ages 6 – 14 are eligible for the drawing, which will be held at 4:00 p.m. There is no cost to enter the giveaway; however, winners must be present in order to claim the bicycles. The first 50 registered participants will receive free patches.

Cultural Nights

Clarion University Cultural Nights sponsored in part by Farmers National Bank brings you 4 nights of entertainment throughout the week of the 66th Annual Allegheny Toyota Autumn Leaf Festival(tm). Each night will feature Clarion University acts followed by nightly entertainment.

The opening night will take place on Monday, September 30, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. and will feature opening remarks and introductions followed by AnamCara, five women from the Clarion Area who enjoy playing Celtic, folk and old-time music.

Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. will feature Barynya, a Russian music, dance and song ensemble from New York City who presents Russian, Cossac, Ukrainian, Jewish and Gypsy Roma traditional dancing, music, songs, and virtuoso performances.

The third night of entertainment on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 will feature Larry Yazzie, Native Pride. Larry is an actor, two-time World Champion Fancy Dancer, an Eagle Dancer and is from the Meskwaki Nation in Tama, Iowa.

Thursday, October 3, 2019 will bring the last night of Cultural Night entertainment and will feature the Clarion University Homecoming “Pep Rally” followed by Shades of Blue. Some of you may recognize their 1960’s hit song “Oh How Happy” which reached number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1966 and was written by Edwin Starr.

Kiddies Parade

The Women’s Healthcare of Clarion and Healthy Beginnings Pediatrics “Kiddies Parade” will be held on  Tuesday, October 1st, 2019, at 6:15 pm in Clarion, PA. This event is a favorite for kids of all ages! Rain date for this event is Wednesday, October 2nd, 2019.

Farmers and Crafters Day

Kronospan USA “Farmers & Crafters Day” will be held on Friday, October 4th, 2019, in Downtown Clarion, PA, from 8 am to 5 pm. Stretching from 2nd Avenue to 8th Avenue on Main Street, this event is one of the most popular events of entire festival with handmade and homemade crafts and goods available for purchase from over 300 craft vendors. Whether looking for home décor, that special gift or good eats, you’ll have a great time at the Kronospan USA “Farmers and Crafters Day!”

Concert

On Friday, October 4th make your way to downtown Clarion as we bring back the Friday Night Concert featuring “Legends”. The concert will be held in front of the Courthouse beginning at 7:30 pm. This event is free for all to attend.

Legends started out as a Clarion-Limestone faculty band and have evolved into a band that plays commercial ventures and fundraising benefits. They play classic rock from the 60’s to the present.

Parade

The Clarion Hospital “Tournament of Leaves Parade” will be held Saturday, October 5th 2019 in downtown Clarion, PA.

This great event showcases marching bands, floats, and community organizations of the grandest kind! Allegheny Judging Association

The mission of the Allegheny Judging Association focuses on fair and non-biased judging in all aspects of parade and competition performances. Captions of general effect, music, marching & maneuvering, choreography, and showmanship are judged by men and women with years of experience in marching bands, twirling corps, and drill teams.

Wild World of Animals

The Wild World of Animals Show, sponsored in part by the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #101 and Seidle Chevrolet-Buick-GMSC will be held in front of the Clarion County Courthouse on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. The show features a variety of animals, such as reptiles, birds and mammals. You won’t want to miss this family event. It’s educational entertainment! Oldies Concert

The First United National Bank “Oldies Concert” will be held on Saturday evening, October 5, 2019, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Returning to perform for this year’s concert is oldies band “American Pie.” The concert will be held in front of the Clarion County Courthouse. This event is free and open to all festival goers, so kick loose with cool tunes and fun! The Central Electric Cooperative, Inc. Antique Tractor Show will be held on Sunday, October 6th, 2019, from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm from 2nd Avenue to 5th Avenue on Main Street in Clarion, PA. Farm, garden, lawn, implement, hit & miss engines, and toys are welcome—anything farm related!
