FoodStock

Clarion County Community Bank “FoodStock” is an annual county-wide food drive that benefits all Clarion County Food Banks. Non-perishable, non-expired food items will be collected throughout September 2021 and during the 68th Annual Allegheny Toyota Autumn Leaf Festival™.

Beginning in September, food collection barrels and food drive initiatives will be held at various businesses and communities throughout Clarion County.

Join us on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 pm at Clarion Ford Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM for the Clarion County Community Bank “FoodStock” kick off. The collection drive will be held at Clarion Ford Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM throughout the Annual Allegheny Toyota Autumn Leaf Festival(tm). Food donations can be dropped off between 12:00 pm and 5:00 pm each day of the festival.

Fiddlers

The S&T Bank “PA State Old Time Fiddlers’ Contest” will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at 11:00 am.

This popular competition will have you tapping your toes and dancing along to the music! The competition also features contests for the guitar, banjo, and mandolin. Supporting sponsors for the event are, Colony Homes, Commodore Homes, and Kronospan USA.

Touch A Truck, Kids' Carnival

The Seven Mountains Media “Kids’ Carnival” and Waste Management “Touch-A-Truck” will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2021  in the Clarion Mall parking lot from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Kids of all ages will have a chance to get behind the wheel of big rigs, firetrucks, construction vehicles, and more! With entertainment, games, and activities, this FREE event is great family fun for everyone!

Cornhole Tournament

The Advanced Drainage Systems “Cornhole Tournament” will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2021, in front of the Clarion County Courthouse.

The cost of pre-registration is $30 per team of 2 players. Pre-registration guarantees a free t-shirt for each player. Teams registering on the day of the event will be required to pay $40 for registration; players are not guaranteed a t-shirt when they register on the day of the event.

Autorama

The “Autorama Cruise In,” will be held on Sunday, October 3, 2021, from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm from 2nd Avenue to 8th Avenue on Main Street in Clarion, PA.

All vehicle makes, years, and models are accepted.  Pre-registration is $5 per vehicle, day of show entrants are welcome, starting at 9:00 am at $10 per vehicle.

Junior Olympics

The PNC Bank “Junior Olympics” event invites children between the ages of 5-12 who live or attend school in Clarion County to go for the gold! Each child will participate in 4 events – Standing Long Jump, Dash, Softball Throw, and the Modified Javelin Throw. Medals will be given to the top 3 performers in each event (for the age and gender category).

Cultural Nights

Day One (Oct 4) – Simple Gifts

Two women plus twelve instruments equals one good time when Simple Gifts takes the stage. Drawing on an impressive variety of ethnic folk styles, this award-winning duo plays everything from lively Irish jigs and down-home American reels to hard-driving Klezmer frailachs and haunting Gypsy melodies, spicing the mix with the distinctive rhythms of Balkan dance music, the lush sounds of Scandinavian twin fiddling, and original compositions written in a traditional style.

Day Two (Oct 5) – Barynya – Russian Dancers

The Russian music, dance and song ensemble Barynya (Russian: барыня), established in the year 1991 in New York City, is a world renowned group that enjoys exalting stature as the premier Russian folk ensemble outside of Russia. Barynya presents Russian, Cossack, Ukrainian, Jewish and Gypsy Roma traditional dancing, music, songs, and virtuoso performances on instruments including the balalaika, garmoshka (Russian folk button accordion) and balalaika contrabass. Barynya has been invited to perform at some of the most prestigious cultural venues in the United States, including Carnegie Hall in New York, the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia, the Smithsonian Institute of America in Washington D.C., the United Nations in New York, and the Russian Embassy in Washington D.C.

Day Three (Oct 6) – Rev. Robert Jones, Sr.: Songs and Stories Creating Connections

Rev. Robert Jones, Sr. is a native Detroiter and an inspirational storyteller and musician celebrating the history, humor and power of American Roots music. His deep love fofor traditional African American and American traditional music is shared in live performances that interweave timeless stories with original and traditional songs. For more than thirty years Robert has entertained and educated audiences of all ages in schools, colleges, libraries, union halls, prisons, churches and civil rights organizations. At the heart of his message is the belief that our cultural diversity tells a story that should celebrate, not just tolerate.

Day Four (Oct 7) – Djangophonique

Djangophonique is a musical project born out of reverence for the Parisian Jazz Manouche style that was made popular by the legendary Sinti guitarist Django Reinhardt and his Quintette du Hot Club de France. While remaining steeped in the rich and virtuosic tradition, the group brings this music into the present with stunning improv, spontaneity and musical interaction. Hot swing, lush ballads, musette waltzes, jazz standards, boleros, and moody minor pieces are all fused together with theatrical flair and musical humor.

Kiddies Parade

The BHS Women’s Care Associates and Butler Health System Pediatrics  “Kiddies Parade” will be held on  Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at 6:30 pm in Clarion, PA. This event is a favorite for kids of all ages! The rain date is Wednesday, October 6, 2021.

Farmers and Crafters Day

The Kronospan U.S.A. “Farmers & Crafters Day” will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021, in Downtown Clarion, PA, from 8 am to 5 pm. This event is one of the most popular events of the entire festival with handmade and homemade crafts and goods available for purchase from over 300 crafters. Whether looking for home décor, that special gift, or good eats, you’ll have a great time at the Kronospan USA “Farmers and Crafters Day!”

Friday Night Concert
On Friday, October 8th, make your way to downtown Clarion as we bring back the Saturday Night Concert featuring “Legends” sponsored by UPMC Northwest. The concert will be held in front of the Courthouse beginning at 7:30 pm. This event is free for all to attend.
Legends started out as a Clarion-Limestone faculty band and have evolved into a band that plays commercial ventures and fundraising benefits. They play classic rock from the 60’s to the present.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase from food concessions throughout the evening. Make sure to bring your lawn chair, and settle in for an evening of great music and fun!

Parade

The Butler Health System – Clarion Hospital “Tournament of Leaves Parade” will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021, in Clarion, PA.

This great event will showcase marching bands, floats, and community organizations of the grandest kind! Oldies Concert

The First United National Bank “Oldies Concert” will be held on Saturday evening, October 9, 2021 from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Returning to perform for this year’s concert is oldies band “American Pie.” The concert will be held in front of the Clarion County Courthouse. This event is free and open to all festival goers, so kick loose with cool tunes and fun! Tractor

The Central Electric “Antique Tractor Show” will be held on Sunday, October 10, 2021, from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm from 2nd Avenue to 5th Avenue on Main Street in Clarion, PA. Farm, garden, lawn, implement, hit & miss engines, and toys are welcome—anything farm related! Trophies will be awarded in several classes. Live entertainment will be provided.
