We’re excited to welcome Melanie Holt, RN, MSN as our new Director of Nursing at Shippenville Nursing & Rehab!
Melanie brings over 30 years of healthcare experience, beginning her career as a CNA and working her way up to earn her Master’s in Nursing Leadership and Administration in 2024. Her career has been guided by one core belief: people respond to how you treat them.
“I believe in leading by example. When you show up with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic, it shows your team that you value and support them,” Melanie shared.
She’s committed to creating a supportive, team-oriented environment where both staff and residents can thrive.
Outside of work, Melanie enjoys relaxing on the deck with her family and dogs, taking in the quiet and watching the wildlife. She’s especially looking forward to all the fun and cozy moments that fall brings. 🍁

Autumn Leaf Glasses that we had in our basement are now completely gone. We have a couple furniture pieces in the lawn at 538 South Street that is free to a good home.
